A practical and targeted training course for determining and evaluating SIL safety levels based on IEC 61508-61511 standards. With the SIL classification the safety of complex installations is ensured. IEC standards provide a structured method to implement safety functions in the full life cycle of the plant. The aim of the course is to familiarize the user with electronic (process)safety systems used in the industry. SIL ensures that a safety system works under all of the defined conditions within a predetermined time period. Not carefully determining the SIL levels may affect the safety integrity of the installation and also lead to unnecessary expenditure. The course provides a broad introduction to SIL and takes into account specific tasks and procedures used within your organization. The course is intended for (among others) operators, technicians and managers.
